Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis Common sites:
1. lymph nodes (TB lymphadenitis) – is the most common site in HIV negative individuals.
2. Pleura – is the most common site in HIV positive individuals
3. Abdomen -affects the Gastrointestinal tract and the peritoneum
5. CNS – affects the meninges, brain tissue
6. Bones and joints
8. Other parts of the body can be affected but not common
9. Miliary TB
